๐Ÿ’กย New feature suggestion form

When we launched the Suggest feature option in February, we never imagined it would be so popular!

With so many inbound requests, we went back to the drawing board looking for a way to make sharing your suggestions even easier. Now, we're happy to introduce an official new Evernote form, built specifically for you to tell us what you’d love to see next in Evernote.

👉🏻 Suggest a new feature

We'll be closing the Suggest feature option on this page, but rest assured we've backed up all your previous submissions and votes and will consider them in our product roadmap. Thank you everyone who has already contributed!

A quick note: The new feature request form is not a support channel and we won’t be replying directly to submissions. If you need help with your account or want to report a bug, please submit a request and select the most relevant category.

Other helpful links:

So... got a feature idea? Send it our way! We’re all ears 💚

๐Ÿ†ย Feature requests: Top voted and what's next

Over the past two weeks, we received over 300 feature requests! 😍

Thank you for sharing your ideas of how we can improve Evernote; we’ve been reviewing your suggestions, and we’re excited to share what’s coming next.

The top 3 most upvoted features 🏆

Here are the top three features you requested:

1) Full markdown language support
2) Password protected notes or folders
3) Table of contents at the side of the note

These three are clear winners, so we’re moving them from the suggested features list into our product roadmap. Keep an eye out for progress updates. 👀

The least voted features ⏳

We’ve also removed the least popular items to make room for new ideas. These five features won’t be making it onto our roadmap for now:

1) Show which stack the searched notebook belongs to
2) Brandable Spaces
3) Filter options in Spaces
4) Collapsible lists with tables
5) Inline LaTeX formulas

While they’re not in our immediate plans, they’re not gone forever. If we see more interest in the future, we’ll gladly revisit them. If you’re still passionate about any of these, let us know!

Keep those ideas coming 💚

Spaces, Stacks, Notebooks: Whatโ€™s the difference and when to use them?

Back in December 2024, we made Spaces—formerly a Teams-only feature—available for all individual Evernote users. The goal was to unlock a powerful additional level of organization.

In our latest blog, we explore how Spaces compare to other tools like Stacks and Notebooks. Then, we review real-life examples for how all three can be combined to build flexible and personalized organizational systems.
